Cleaning Granite Countertops

Cleaning granite countertops is usually a simple matter of wiping the surface down with warm water and a soft cloth. But, if you choose to use a cleaning product on your granite countertop make sure it is a neutral (pH balanced) solution, as acidic cleaning products can abrade the polish from the surface. Manufacturers also suggest a once yearly application of non-yellowing wax to ensure your granite retains its original luster and shine.

Veneers for chipped or stained or misshaped teeth

Teeth that are badly stained, shaped or crooked may be improved by a veneer placed on the surface of the affected teeth.

Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic cemented over the front of your teeth that are used to change their color or shape. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Little or no anesthesia is needed. Veneers have a longer life expectancy and color stability than bonding, and highly resist permanent staining from coffee, tea, or even cigarette smoking.

Veneers are made by our dental lab technicians working from a model provided one of our dentists. Veneers are usually irreversible because it`s necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell.

Porcelain veneers can mask undesirable defects, such as teeth stained by tetracycline, by an injury, or as a result of a root-canal procedure, and are ideal for masking discolored fillings in front teeth. Patients with gaps between their front teeth or teeth that are chipped or worn may consider porcelain veneers.

Portable Toilets leave a lasting impression

Is there anything worse than being at the ball field, a lake, or the community beach and having to use one of those portable toilets?  I don’t think so ... at least most of the time.  As you spend more time with your kids at these municipal fields and parks you start to recognize the names on the doors of these portable restrooms ... especially the ones who don’t service their equipment and always make you cringe.

Municipalities should really take into consideration that it is their name that gets the bad reputation first before the portable toilet company. Parents in Sudbury don’t like it when we have to take our kids out of town for a game, especially when we know from previous experience that it’s a town that doesn’t have a service contract with the portable toilet company.  As parents we certainly remember that lasting impressions and feeling of cringing!

Grill Topper is a must have Grill Tool

A grill topper is one of the newer tools available to outdoor chefs. It consists of a metal plated bottom with four slanted (45 degree +/-) sides. All sides contains 3/8 inch holes spaced approximately 1/2 inch apart. The surface is coated to help prevent sticking. The topper is used for grilling smaller portions of meat or vegetables. Think of it as a 'grilling wok'. The topper is placed directly over the heat and the food can be 'tossed' as if you were using a real wok.  You can line bottom with aluminum foil in order ot keep juices in when grilling vegetables.

Restroom trailers for your outdoor wedding

Are you planning a big, beautiful wedding outdoors? Maybe on the ocean, on a lake or in a park. Everything is planned, the guest list, the flowers and the caterer. If so, you’ll need restrooms for the party. Even if the wedding or event is in a home, you’ll be much happier knowing guests don’t need to walk through the house to use the restroom. If there are a large number of guests at the event, this can be very hard on the homeowner’s septic system. The last thing you or the home owner needs is a plugged up septic system. Restroom trailers can be rented for the event. They are spacious, well appointed, and spacious. They have a counter for a bridal basket, or flowers, flushing toilets, and ceramic sinks. The trailers are delivered and set up at your event, and, with NSC, an attendant remains on site in case there are any issues that arise. Restroom trailers are equipped with AC and heat for use during any times of year. Additionally, these restrooms are water saving units so while providing luxury and convenience you’ll also be going green! Using a restroom trailer makes you feel as though you are in someone’s luxurious, beautifully appointed bathroom.
