Build a Home Now and be Moved in Before the Holidays

Posted: September 26th, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

If you are interested in building a home, but you believe it will take too long, or you don’t want to be displaced for the holidays, don’t worry.

You can build a home and be moved in and settled in for the holidays. Yes, we know it is almost October.

Take a look at this two story cape style modular home we constructed in the Richmond Virginia area. After the design process, this modular home took only 35 days from set, (where we place the modules on the foundation), to receiving the certificate of occupancy from the building inspector.

Our very happy customer moved in this past weekend, and they are looking forward to enjoying the Fall and the holidays in their new home.

Modular homes are faster to build because the modules are built in a factory, in an assembly line process. Materials are already on hand, no weather delays and no missing contractors.

Speed is What Systems Built Housing is All About

What is a modular home? Well, a modular home is a systems built home. Still need more information? Modular home designs can be picked from one of the hundreds of floor plans we have at HandCrafted Homes, or they can be custom designed. Whether you slightly modify one of our plans, or you completely create your own, we can build that home in modular form.

One of the main benefits of modular home construction is the speed with which your home is built. The home is then built in the form of modules in our climate controlled factories. While that is being done, at the job site, your foundation is being built and set and the water is being tied in. Your modules are then transported by trucks and placed on the foundation via crane.

Once the modules are delivered, our builders secure the modules together, tie in the electric and sewer, adds siding and finishes the inside of you new home. Modular construction, from the completion of the design process to  your move in date is the fastest form of home construction. Additionally, modular construction offers you the ability to build a high quality, custom designed home, faster.

It is this easy and this seamless as one of our customers knows. Take a look at this home that was built in 30 days; started on August 1 and finished on August 30th. This is where systems built modular homes really makes the difference. For more information on systems built homes, contact HandCrafted Homes.
